Hi, I'm Hewan
I offer spiritual companionship and guidance through presence, deep listening, and gentle awareness of your experience. I hold a steady, grounded space where you can feel met just as you are — especially in moments of disconnection, restlessness, loneliness, overwhelm, or transition. Times when emotions feel heavy, things feel unclear, or it’s hard to know which way to turn.
Together, we slow down and turn inward. As thoughts begin to settle and emotions are given space to move, there is often more room to notice what’s here with greater clarity and perspective. Beneath the noise and uncertainty, there is an inner knowing already present — a quiet wisdom within that can become easier to hear when given space and attention.
What once felt tangled or overwhelming can begin to feel lighter to hold. My role is to walk alongside you with care, openness, and steady support — creating space for deeper self-realization, trust in your own inner guidance, and a gentler relationship with your experience.

My Approach
At times, you may notice yourself getting caught in your thoughts — carrying a lot emotionally, trying to make sense of things, but feeling unclear or stuck in overthinking. It can feel heavy, like your mind is moving faster than your sense of clarity.

In those moments, we gently slow things down and turn toward what’s actually here. Instead of trying to push anything away or figure it all out right away, we make space for your experience just as it is. As things soften and settle, there’s often a bit more room to breathe, and what you’re going through can start to feel more workable.

You may begin to notice that not every thought needs to be followed or believed. Some thoughts feel grounded and clear, while others come from worry, memory, or anticipation. With a bit of space, you can start to see the difference without getting pulled around by them.
Over time, this can support a quieter sense of inner clarity — a steadier kind of knowing that’s already here underneath the noise that we can learn to trust and rest in. There is an inner guidance and wisdom within you that can become more accessible in presence. And in different ways, life often reflects this back to us through other people, moments, and support that shows up externally as well — reminding us that we are not alone in what we’re moving through.

There’s nothing you need to fix or force. Just a gentle coming back to yourself, again and again, in a way that feels grounding and supportive.

Listening as clarity and ease

Silent Retreats
Hewan co-facilitates intimate half-day silent retreats in Dakar, Senegal, alongside her teaching partner. These gatherings are created together as a shared space for the community, and have been part of their work from the very beginning.
These retreats offer a quiet space for meditation and mindfulness practice. Together, we slow down, rest in awareness, and reconnect with a deeper sense of self—beneath the movement of thoughts and the distractions of daily life.
Stay connected for future silent retreats and community gatherings.
Presence as a guiding light.

Ongoing Community Gatherings: Mindfulness & Meditation
We gather every Wednesday and Friday for meditation and mindfulness practice.

These are donation-based (give as you feel inspired) mindfulness and meditation gatherings open to anyone called to sit in stillness. The practice is mostly held in silence and includes short insight talks, guided meditation, silent reflection or journaling, and invitational mindful listening and speaking practices, closing with tea and reflection.

Through shared presence, we learn to listen more deeply—to the quiet within and the inner wisdom that guides our lives.

No one is turned away for lack of funds.

Training & Formation
Hewan Fekadu is a spiritual companion and guide who supports a deeper connection to our source of life through resting in presence — through meditation, contemplative prayer, mindfulness, and silence. She also helps bring these practices into everyday life, including relationships, emotions, and daily stress, so spiritual insights can be lived, embodied, and felt in a real and grounded way.

She is a certified metaphysical practitioner through the International Metaphysical Ministry at the University of Metaphysics. She trained as a Teacher of Presence through the Eckhart Tolle School of Awakening and is a student of A Course in Miracles.
Her work is rooted in presence, forgiveness, and inner peace, and is guided by her own practice of turning to the presence of God within as a source of love, peace, and clarity.
